Council approves police vehicle maintenance contract with Belltown Motors

Council discussed convenience factors — travel time to out‑of‑town vendors and the practical advantages of a local vendor — and also noted Belltown's prior performance. A motion to award the bid to Belltown Motors effective April 9 was made, seconded and approved by the council.
Implementation: the contract award covers towing, maintenance and repair for police vehicles, with warranty work directed to Ford dealerships as needed. The town noted that other departments may piggyback on the contract.
