Town staff outline pilot Pathway to Homeownership and local-government beginner classes

The beginner's-guide classes are a pilot of five sessions running Nov–Jan; staff recommended pre-registration (not required) for planning (pizza orders and baseline counts were cited as a logistical reason) and said the classes will be recorded and offered in English and Spanish. Presenters said they will share draft presentation materials with commissioners for feedback and will post the Zoom links and a website page when technical arrangements with CMC are finalized.
Commissioners asked about outreach and registration and staff said flyers, social-media posts and partnerships with community organizations (including CMC and Vista Verde contacts) would be used to publicize classes. Staff asked commissioners to share materials within their networks to increase participation.
