Litchfield board hires three administrators amid competitive applicant pools

Executive Director Satderfield described search processes for each role. For director of finance the district received 10 applicants, used paper screening and in‑basket activities, and interviewed four finalists before recommending Karen Boore; the board approved her appointment by unanimous voice vote. For the assistant principal role at Western Sky Middle School, 29 applicants yielded 14 in‑basket candidates and five first‑round interviews; the committee recommended Edward (Ted) Hansen, an internal candidate with 10 years at Western Sky, and the board approved the hire. For assistant director of the White Tanks Learning Center, Satderfield said 21 applied and three were interviewed; the board approved Ashley Agy for the post, noting internal experience at the campus.
Board members routinely praised internal advancement and the strength of candidate pools; Miss Moran said she was "very impressed" by the resumes and numbers of applicants and welcomed the new hires to the district family. The board invited the newly hired staff to join a group photo following the action items.
Votes: each appointment passed by unanimous voice vote with Miss Wallace, Mr. Mike, Miss Moran and President Zimman voting yes.
