Fredericktown approves temporary permits for Bill Banks event and Catholic Church OctoberFest

The board granted a temporary caterers permit to Copper Cactus LLC for an event at Bill Banks Event Center at 140 S. Main on Sept. 27, 2025. Alderman Brown moved to approve the permit and Alderman Huckaba seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
Separately, aldermen approved a temporary civic organization picnic permit for the Catholic Church to hold an OctoberFest beer garden on Oct. 5, 2025. The motion to approve was moved by Alderman Polite and seconded by Alderman Brown and approved by voice vote.
Both requests were described in the meeting as routine and similar to prior years’ approvals for the same events or organizers.
