During roll call the Chair read members present, including Member Andrew (first name given on the record earlier) whose last name was identified as misspelled in the draft minutes. Member Andrew Chamberlain spelled his last name aloud on the record to clarify the correction. The board then moved to approve the March 25 minutes with that correction and voted them for posting to the website.
On a separate agenda item, Lance reported a delay obtaining training information because the Carl Vincent Institute contact who previously handled sign-ups had left. He said he would contact the new person taking over those responsibilities to confirm which courses qualify for the authority's continuing-education requirement and to prioritize online options so members can complete the required two hours. The Chair and members agreed Lance will follow up and notify the board by email.
