Council approves conditional use for miniature golf course at Lewis Dairy site

Meanie described plans for an outdoor miniature golf course with an educational theme about dairy production and said the project would create roughly four to five seasonal jobs and prioritize hiring people with special needs.
Councilmembers asked about site dimensions, parking and hours of operation; Meanie said the course would operate during daylight hours (roughly 11 a.m. to 7–8 p.m. initially) and that existing ice cream parlor parking and previously approved spaces addressed parking needs. Council moved and approved the conditional use application by voice vote.
The applicant and town will coordinate building permits and site details prior to construction and opening.
