The Bremen Town Council approved a series of routine financial and administrative items and adopted a resolution honoring a local educator.
Council members voted to approve the minutes from the prior meeting, accounts payable claims and the allowance docket for January. A town staff member reported they have not yet completed the January fund report while working with accounting firm Baker Tilly on a recent bond closing.
The council authorized a signature to accept a small bond refund described in the packet as approximately $639; the clerk asked for and received council approval for a town official to sign to receive the refund.
Council member Mr. Wagner read Resolution 2026-3, commending Amber Reid, identified in the resolution as a business, marketing and entrepreneurship teacher and internship coordinator at Bremen High School, and the council voted to adopt the resolution.
The council handled the routine items by voice vote and moved on to departmental reports and other business. The meeting concluded after department reports and a short round of council comments.
