Kingston council reviews budget amendments and several board appointments

I changed those figures just to make sure that we had a result," Miss Kelly said, referring to a memo circulated with the council packet. The council also reviewed expiring terms and nominations for several local boards. Staff said Hugh Willlet and Robert Bailey have requested to remain on the Kingston Historic Zoning Commission. Two Library Board terms were noted, with Beverly Zelman and William Wilson listed as serving; staff also said Ashley Clim has applied to fill an unexpired term on the Parks and Recreation Commission and the mayor indicated she will be appointed at an upcoming meeting.
Council members exchanged brief updates about recent paving projects and asked the public to hold the council and ailing members in mind; the mayor adjourned the work session without formal votes on the budget amendments or appointments during this meeting.
