Early Head Start staff presented the April program report and several upcoming events. Staff reported funded enrollment at 94, an actual enrollment dip to 92 in April with replacement to return to 94 in May, average daily attendance of 81, and a waiting list of 30 children. The program recorded 39 transitions, five pregnant women in services, 12 children with disabilities, three staff trainings, and eight parent involvement activities. Health checks were reported at 94% up to date and immunizations at 100%; monthly reportable health incidents were zero. In-kind contributions for the program were reported at $41,526.
Program staff invited board members to graduation events including a ceremony at 10 a.m. on June 18 and noted the district will present scholarships at a senior honors night event. The board moved to accept the Early Head Start report as presented; the motion was seconded and approved by show of hands.
