The planning director told the Local Planning Agency on Feb. 23 that Daniel Parabach — long-serving senior environmental planner and village biologist — has been promoted to assistant planning director and will appear before the agency when the planning director is unavailable.
Daniel did not make an extended presentation but was introduced to the agency. The planning director said staff turnover prompted the appointment and that Parabach will sometimes stand in for the director on future agenda items.
The planning director also reported that the advertising deadline for the March meeting had passed and that no agenda items were scheduled; as a result, the March LPA meeting will likely be canceled and business will resume in April unless new items arise.
The announcements came at the start and close of a meeting that otherwise focused on ordinances enabling the village to bank transfer-of-development-rights (TDR) certificates.
