Archer Lodge council accepts resignation and appoints two to planning board

For the planning‑board appointments, staff said four people applied for two openings and ballots were used to determine the top two vote‑getters. After an initial tie for second, council conducted a second ballot. Mayor announced the top two as Eric Mooneyham and Jonathan Cox; council then moved and unanimously approved their appointment to both the planning board and the board of adjustment.
The council expressed appreciation for all applicants and noted the importance of the planning board in managing local growth. The appointees will assume their seats upon the council’s formal adoption of the appointments.
