The board said it intends to formalize a uniform personnel policy that clarifies holiday compensation across departments, noting that some policy details for police and other departments may require additional discussion and a full board quorum in a future meeting.
The board directed staff to include holiday policy discussion on a future agenda and to coordinate with the finance/advisory committee and department heads to finalize consistent procedures.
