Planning commission approves three subdivision plats with standard outstanding items

The Blount County Planning Commission approved three final plats on its agenda, each with standard outstanding items that must be completed before final recording.
Pages Play subdivision (lots 34R1–34R4) by Murphy Bobcat received conditional approval; staff listed outstanding items including a notarized maintenance agreement for the common driveway and cluster mailbox, signature plats with sanitary/electric/water certifications, and the platting fee. Commissioner Nick Bright moved approval; Commissioner Wells seconded and the motion passed.
Ridge Meadows (lots 3–5) by Pancrrets Construction was approved with similar outstanding items (maintenance agreement, signature plat, environmental health department review and platting fee). Commissioner Giles moved approval and Commissioner Sullins seconded.
Mike Reigns property (lots 1–3) was likewise approved subject to signature plat certifications and payment of environmental health and platting fees; motion by Commissioner Wells, seconded by Commissioner Mars.
Planning staff said they will ensure the recorded plats include required dedications and that outstanding documents are added to the files before final recording.
