The Wasatch County School Board ratified four negotiated agreements covering licensed employees, education support professionals, supervisor employees and administrative employees for fiscal year 2026–27 at the May 26 meeting.
Eric Campbell and other negotiators summarized the licensed‑employee agreement: salary steps would be funded per the district schedule and licensed staff would receive a 4% cost‑of‑living increase to base salary effective July 1, 2026. The district will continue to pay for the PHP Silver Advantage health insurance plan and Delta Dental for eligible employees; a gold buyup option remains available. The district also agreed to pay $45 per day for unused sick and personal days at retirement (as stated in the packet).
Board members and administrators emphasized that the increases are to be covered by existing revenue and that the district will not pursue additional public revenue under truth‑in‑taxation. The board approved each agreement by voice vote and thanked negotiators and employee representatives for collaborative sessions that led to the agreements.
