Little Falls announces holiday trolley, library events and Veterans Day services

Councilwoman Hlett used the Nov. 10 meeting to outline upcoming community programs and seasonal events, including a new holiday trolley ride and library programming.
Hlett said the holiday trolley ride will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18 with two departures (6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.), seating is limited and the rides are currently open to Little Falls residents only; sign-ups will be handled through CommunityPass. She also highlighted library events on Nov. 18 (a Lincoln portrait presentation at 6:30 p.m. by Mallalerie Morino) and a Dungeons & Dragons program for grades 5'8.
Councilman Venturi encouraged attendance at the American Legion Post 108 Veterans Day service at Norvote Park at 11:00 a.m. the following day and previewed the Nov. 29 holiday parade (5:00 p.m.). He reported phase two of the township's crosswalk updates would be completed later in the week and thanked police and DPW staff for their work.
The council also noted plans to add accessible parking spaces near retail and service locations after receiving business and resident input.
