Council approves annexation, zoning change and a text amendment in unanimous votes

On third reading the Lincoln City Council on April 13 approved three ordinances with no recorded discussion.
Item 6A approved an annexation request by SRJ Company LLC to add about 37.38 acres near the southwest corner of South 40th Street and Rokeby Road. Item 6B approved a change of zone for SRJ Company LLC properties, changing designations from AG agriculture district to H4 general commercial PUD and to P public district with associated waivers for properties at 3801 Rokeby Road and 10277 South 40th Street. Item 6C approved a text amendment submitted by Lucas Bell to Lincoln Municipal Code Section 27.62.110 revising provisions on on-premises alcohol sales within the I1 industrial zoning district.
All three motions were introduced, seconded and approved by roll-call vote; recorded votes show unanimous approval by members present.
