Council approves Lied Center liquor license and Confluence Brewing basement addition

The Lincoln City Council unanimously approved several liquor-related items on April 13.
Val Limited, doing business as The Lied Center, applied for a Class I liquor license and submitted a related manager application for Anthony Massihnia, who told the council his company was awarded the liquor-services RFP and is applying for a permanent license. "We were awarded through an RFP to be the liquor provider down at The Lied Center full-time," Massihnia said.
The council also approved a request from Confluence Brewing Company LLC, d/b/a Beer House Mash & Lager, to add an indoor basement area measuring about 65 feet by 50 feet to its licensed premises at 151 North 8th Street. No members of the public spoke in opposition to the items.
Motions to approve items 4A–4C were moved and seconded, and roll-call votes were recorded in favor of the approvals.
