A board member raised accessibility concerns: "I found myself showing up at the wrong place," the member said, arguing that some residents are not as connected online and could miss notices if the district relies solely on web postings. Staff and other members responded that if the regular meeting place changes the district will post at both the district office and the alternate location, and that online notices, email and other communications also inform residents.
The committee agreed to retain the 'no' default in Policy 2200 while documenting the commitment to post at the district office and to post physically at alternate locations when meetings are held elsewhere. The discussion emphasized balancing legal compliance with practical notice requirements for community members.
