Authority grants five sewer EDUs for proposed Wawa at 157 Evergreen Road

The Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority voted unanimously on Aug. 14 to allocate five sewer equivalent dwelling units (EDUs) to the proposed Wawa at 157 Evergreen Road.
Manager Edward Wagner said the project has progressed through one DEP review and that the applicant submitted corrections last month; he expects sewer module approval shortly. "This project is going smoothly and should have their sewer module approval shortly," Wagner said. Mr. Ebert said the authority expects the applicant to be approved and that construction could start later this fall.
Vice Chairman Sean Pence moved to allocate the five EDUs; Treasurer James Vlahos seconded and the board approved the allocation 4-0. The authority did not attach additional conditions at the meeting and asked staff to continue coordination with the applicant and DEP.
Next step: DEP sewer module approval and then construction scheduling by the developer.
