The Board of Public Works and Safety on May 1 approved a purchase agreement between the City of Portland and LeAnn Miller for 208/210 North Meridian Street for $11,000 and tabled two quotes to prep and seed the lot beside the Greazy Pickle while the board seeks estimates for curb removal.
Board members reviewed two bids to prep and seed the lot: Miles Trucking & Excavating quoted $3,000 and Cook’s Nursery quoted $3,150. Cook’s Nursery recommended removing curbing at the lot’s south corner, but neither bid included a curb-removal estimate. On a motion by Jerry Leonhard, seconded by Steve McIntosh, the board tabled the seeding quotes and asked staff to obtain curb-removal estimates.
Separately, the board approved the purchase agreement with LeAnn Miller for $11,000. The approved purchase completes the board action on that property acquisition item; staff did not bring forward additional detail on future lot use at the May 1 meeting.
