Westford 300 Committee approves two new members, accepts resignation and ratifies three sets of minutes

The Westford 300th Anniversary Celebration Committee voted April 16 to add two new members and ratified three sets of past meeting minutes while noting a forthcoming resignation.
Chair Ken Tebbetts opened the meeting and the committee approved Paige Connell as a new member after Brittany Cannata moved the nomination and Ming Zhang seconded; members said Connell brings marketing and communications experience. The motion passed unanimously under Chair Tebbetts.
The committee also approved Seema Pusalkar, nominated by Brittany Cannata and seconded by Dawn Brooks. Members highlighted Pusalkar’s volunteer experience, including prior Girl Scouts work and treasury management, and noted she currently serves on Westford’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. The motion passed unanimously.
Emily Glass announced she will resign from the Westford 300 Committee effective at the end of May after accepting a seat on the Cultural Commission; she told the committee she will continue to be available as a resource. Committee members thanked Glass for her contributions.
The committee then took three procedural votes to approve minutes from January 15, February 19 and March 19, 2026. Each motion was moved by Brittany Cannata and carried without opposition. Chair Tebbetts presided over the unanimous votes.
