The Westford 300th Anniversary Celebration Committee met on March 19, 2026, and set dates for community-wide meetings while noting that no quorum was present and no formal votes were taken. Chair Ken Tebbetts called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM.
The committee confirmed four public meeting sessions: Roudenbush Community Center on April 25, 2026 at 1:00 PM; Cameron Senior Center on May 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM; Westford Museum on May 17, 2026 (time to be confirmed); and a virtual WestfordCAT meeting on June 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Ming Zhang confirmed the WestfordCAT date and sent meeting requests on behalf of the studio.
Brittany Cannata, the committee secretary, said she circulated a Community-Wide Public Meeting Framework on March 17 and the group agreed to keep meeting agendas concise, aiming to consolidate items so each meeting contains about five agenda items. The committee also agreed to standardize public communications with a green-and-red color scheme based on Emily Glass’s design.
Seema Pusalker attended as a guest after submitting an application to join the committee and introduced her community work with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, the Cultural Council and her PTO. The committee noted that Paige Connell submitted an application but was unable to attend the meeting.
Because fewer members attended than required for a quorum, the committee tabled approval of the January 15, 2026 minutes until the April 16 meeting. The next committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM in a hybrid format; Chair Ken Tebbetts will confirm Town Hall room availability.
This meeting focused on planning and scheduling; with no quorum, no binding decisions or votes were recorded.
