Manor Township fundraiser and township funds secure preservation of Eshbach farm

Township Manager J. Ryan Strohecker told the Manor Township Board of Supervisors at its May 5, 2026 organizational meeting that proceeds from the Turkey Hill Country Classic, together with township funds, have reached the $50,000 needed to preserve the next farm in Manor.
Strohecker said the township's $50,000 contribution toward the preservation easement is composed of $25,000 from Manor Township's funds and about $25,000 in donations from event sponsors. He said Lancaster County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will each contribute $50,000 to preserve the Brian Eshbach farm on Safe Harbor Road; the township intends to turn its funds over to the county by the end of the year.
