The meeting included a brief public comment period. A resident asked, “Are you guys paid in these positions…?” Ken Hartsfield, who ran the meeting in the room, replied, “It’s fully volunteer.” Another commissioner requested a correction to the minutes (the packet had shown him as absent); staff said they would correct that in the next meeting packet.
Karen said staff would work to improve notice so the commission can achieve a quorum at future meetings and apologized again for the inconvenience. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at about 6:45 p.m.
The commission took no substantive votes on the merits of any planning applications; each scheduled hearing was continued to the June 11 meeting at 6:30 p.m.
