Fire Marshal James Rupert reported to the Bolton Fire Commission on Sept. 28 that inspections at Bolton Center School and Bolton High School went well overall and identified only minor storage issues. Rupert said Deputy Fire Marshal Bill Call continues to conduct weekly inspections. The marshal told commissioners that all multifamily residential occupancies in town have been inspected and that inspections of assembly occupancies, including local churches, are in progress.
On small-incident reporting, Rupert noted one moped fire and some instances of non-permitted burning; the minutes do not record enforcement actions or penalties tied to those incidents.
