Blair Township names full‑time patrol officer, approves conference attendance and benefits continuation

Police Chief Roger Peacock reported that Officer Bryce Martellacci completed his probationary period and ‘‘has done an excellent job during his probationary period.’’ The board approved offering Martellacci a full‑time permanent Patrol Officer 1 position effective immediately; the motion passed unanimously.
Secretary/Treasurer Kami Bilek declared interest in attending the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) annual conference, May 4–7, 2025; the board approved her attendance and recorded that Blair Township will not assign a voting delegate this year. Bilek also reported that the township’s Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) through Davevic Benefit Consultants had been omitted from the hospitalization renewal consultation; the board approved continuation of the HRA retroactive to Jan. 1, 2025 with no changes from 2024.
