Kiskiminetas supervisors approve 2026 fee resolution, retroactive winter emergency declaration and revised meeting schedule

The Kiskiminetas Township Board of Supervisors on Feb. 4 approved several governance items, including the township’s 2026 Fee Resolution, a retroactive emergency declaration for winter weather and a revised meeting schedule for 2026.
On a motion by B. Hilliard, seconded by M. Long, the board approved the 2026 Fee Resolution. The board also ratified an emergency declaration covering Jan. 24, 2026, for winter weather on a motion by B. Hilliard, seconded by A. Birch; that motion carried. The board voted to advertise a revised meeting schedule effective Feb. 25, 2026, setting business meetings for the second Wednesday and workshop meetings for the fourth Wednesday, on a motion by A. Birch, seconded by B. Hilliard.
Earlier in the meeting the board also approved the January minutes, the January treasurer’s reports and the January payable voucher lists. Department reports were provided by the Police Department (Sgt. Tessmer), Public Works and Codes (Interim Township Manager Jason Dailey) and the Fire Department (Addie Birch).
The meeting adjourned at 7:41 p.m.
