Kiskiminetas board approves CNX road permit, $22,988 pug‑mill rental and chip‑seal bid

The Kiskiminetas Township Board of Supervisors on Feb. 4 approved a Joint Highway Occupation Permit to allow CNX to perform road improvements related to two well pads and authorized a series of road‑maintenance actions, including a one‑day pug‑mill rental and advertising the annual chip‑seal program.

Chairman Bob Ross called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Interim Township Manager Jason Dailey reported receipt of correspondence from CNX with revised plans for road work; the board then voted to approve a Joint Highway Occupation Permit and a subsequent maintenance agreement, on a motion by B. Hilliard, seconded by M. Long. The motion carried.

The board also approved a motion by B. Hilliard, seconded by M. Long, to rent a pug mill from Russell Standard for one day at $3,500 and to purchase oil for the operation at a cost of $19,488, for a total cost of $22,988; that motion carried. Separately, the board authorized advertising the annual chip‑seal program for bid on a motion by M. Long, seconded by B. Hilliard; that motion carried.
