Staffing update: The Sheriff reported recent personnel actions: one new hire earlier in the month was immediately deployed for a short National Guard duty; a probationary employee was released; interviews are scheduled and two hires are expected to be sworn in at the next board meeting. "So, hopefully, next board meeting, I'm gonna have the swearing in of the 2 new employees," the Sheriff said.
