John Scenna reported that funding was not approved for improvements at the Main/Lowell Street intersection. The committee also agreed to remove the initial request to install a flashing speed sign near senior housing on Essex Street because funding was not available; the group said future installations will depend on funding and appropriateness.
Separately, the repair of a guardrail at Carpenter and Route 1 is awaiting contractor insurance and signatures before work can proceed; no completion date was provided.
