Richland accepts water report showing December usage up sharply year‑over‑year

Hicks’ report lists total water pumped for December 2025 as 17,400,000 gallons, compared with 9,446,000 gallons in December 2024 — an increase of 7,954,000 gallons. Year-to-date pumped is reported as 168,090,300 gallons. The report also notes that the North (Bishop Road) tank is back online.
Councilman Larry Atkinson moved to accept the water report; Councilwoman Donna Gilson seconded and the board voted unanimously "AYE." The report was entered as part of the meeting minutes.
