Committee requires consultants to disclose per-presentation fee in services agreements

Members cited a previous Integrated Water Master Plan process in which community presentations generated unanticipated costs that later required board approval.
"Please indicate if [a final presentation] has been included in the fee schedule, and if not, what would be the timeline and cost for making a presentation to the board of directors?" a committee member asked during the packet review. The committee directed staff to add per-presentation pricing language to the redline and to send the revised services agreement to the board with the committee's blessing.
What happens next: staff will insert the fee-schedule language into the revised services agreement and forward the agreement to the board for approval. The committee recommended asking consultants to break out presentation costs as a line item in proposals.
