Mendota council adopts agenda, approves consent items and funds Pool Park improvements

Council Member Joseph Riofrio moved to adopt the meeting agenda; Council Member Oscar Rosales seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 5–0.
On the consent calendar the council approved warrant check nos. 54887 through 54937 totaling $765,834.07 and adopted two resolutions: Resolution No. 24-29 (a successor memorandum of understanding with Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 on behalf of the Mendota Police Officers' Association) and Resolution No. 24-30 (revising the Management Benefit Resolution for unrepresented management employees). Council Member Oscar Rosales moved to approve items one through three; Council Member Jose Alonso seconded; the motion passed unanimously, 5–0.
Separately, Council Member Oscar Rosales moved to allocate $40,000 to $50,000 for benches, concrete slabs for benches and barbecue grills at Pool Park; Council Member Jose Alonso seconded. The council approved the allocation unanimously, 5–0.
With no further business the council unanimously approved a motion to adjourn at 1:02 p.m.
