North Fond du Lac Plan Commission approves exterior storage racking for BCI Burke

The North Fond du Lac Plan Commission unanimously approved a site plan amendment on Feb. 11, 2025, authorizing BCI Burke at 512 Harrison Street to install additional exterior storage racking, Building/Zoning Administrator Peter Fetters reported.
The commission approved a set of racks described by Fetters as measuring 140 feet by 8 feet, 82 feet by 8 feet, and 16 feet by 3.5 feet, with a maximum height of 24 feet. Fetters said the new racks would be fitted with gray shrouds similar in appearance to existing exterior racking. He told the commission that the village fire chief and police chief had reviewed the submitted plan and recommended approval.
Acting Chairperson Brandon Switz moved to approve the site plan amendment; Jim Livieri seconded. The motion passed 4-0, with Mike Will, Mike Streetar and Sherry Behnke recorded as excused. Present for the discussion were commissioners Switz, Livieri and Don Schneider, Public Works Director Mitch Vis, Fetters, and representatives of BCI Burke identified in the record as Brian Johnson and Jacob Martinson.
The commission also approved minutes of the Jan. 14 meeting; the minutes text contains an internal year discrepancy in the record (the agenda line lists Jan. 14, 2025, while the motion language in the minutes reads Jan. 14, 2024). The commission recorded no public comments during the meeting.
