The board approved a contract with EGT Services for parking‑lot asphalt sealing at $9,874.00 and signed off on smaller routine disbursements: a $153.62 tax refund to Michael Delsignore; reimbursement of $211.86 to Commissioner Beswick for a SurveyMonkey expense; $250 to join the Local Government Academy Leadership Circle; and a $150 donation to sponsor East Allegheny High School baseball.
Commissioners also approved a handicap parking sign at 124 North Broadway based on assessment by Officer Reiche and Chief Locke. In personnel business, the board carried a motion to hire Tyler Schwer as a public works laborer under the collective bargaining agreement, with a start date of Aug. 5, 2024.
