Committee approves May 7 minutes unanimously; resident raises Evans Park trail proximity concern
Summary
The Committee approved May 7 minutes by unanimous roll call. A resident, Valerie Sutton, told staff she believed she had not been informed about the Evans Park Trail Connection Project and that the trail sits too close to her property; staff said moving the trail back is possible but would cost more and delay the project.

The Committee approved the May 7, 2024 Committee of the Whole minutes on a motion by Councilmember Christensen, seconded by Councilmember West; roll call was unanimous.
In other business, staff told the Committee that resident Valerie Sutton had contacted the city with two concerns related to the Evans Park Trail Connection Project: that she did not receive notice about the trail and that the trail is too close to her property. Staff noted that the trail could be moved farther from her property but cautioned that doing so would increase costs and extend the project timeline.
The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.; minutes were submitted by City Clerk Carrie Erickson.
