Penn Forest supervisors review re-issued zoning, parking and subdivision draft materials at workshop

The Penn Forest Township Board of Supervisors met for a workshop on June 13, 2024, at the township municipal building in Jim Thorpe, where board members and Sarcinello Planning & GIS Services reviewed re-issued draft planning materials intended to update zoning, parking and subdivision rules.
The review covered Draft #5 of the Table of Uses and Table of Dimensional Standards, Draft #1 of PRD text, Draft #2 addressing parking locations, parking access and screening and parking lot landscaping, and Draft #1 of proposed Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance amendments. Township staff recorded the materials as part of meeting #6 in the consultant’s review sequence.
Chairman Roger Meckes opened the workshop at 3:00 p.m. and the board took roll call; Vice-Chairman Christian Bartulovich, Supervisors Scott Lignore (marked absent), Patrick Holland (left early), and James Denier were listed by the secretary. Sarcinello Planning & GIS Services presented the re-issued drafts for the board’s consideration; the minutes record the materials reviewed but do not record substantive edits or final decisions at this meeting.
No members of the public spoke during the public comment period. At 5:00 p.m., Meckes moved to adjourn the workshop; Bartulovich seconded. Roll call on the adjournment motion recorded votes as follows: Roger Meckes — yes; Christian Bartulovich — yes; Scott Lignore — absent; Patrick Holland — absent/left early; James Denier — yes. The motion passed and the meeting was adjourned.
