The purchase was discussed during the township manager’s report; Township Manager Joseph Hillan told the board the new apparatus is expected to arrive on or about Aug. 16. The acquisition follows the township’s capital planning and was presented as a financing arrangement rather than an immediate cash purchase.
The action completes a formal vote to authorize the lease-purchase. There were no amendments or recorded conditions attached to the motion. The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
