On the Oil and Gas Ordinance, the manager outlined next steps: provide a copy of the draft to the township and county planning commissions for up to 45 days of comment, advertise a public hearing for April 22, 2026, and plan for formal adoption at the May 13 meeting. The manager said the Comprehensive Plan would be delivered to the Planning Commission and reported a recent meeting with DCED to obtain planning assistance. During public discussion, Doug Sproat addressed the Comprehensive Plan and an unnamed bar owner spoke; Mr. Hribanic raised an issue related to golf fees.
