Commission reviews outreach: printing challenges for coloring book and distribution via Meals on Wheels

Chair Phyttis Vennberg told the commission she had contacted Cape Cod Technical High School and the sheriff's department about printing an "Unexpected Friendship" coloring book; she said the sheriff's department is no longer doing printing and she had not yet received a price quote from Cape Cod Tech.
Commissioner John Mitchett reported that Elder Services has approved distributing commission materials through its Meals on Wheels program but that the agency must approve the flyer. Mitchett said he will drop off the flyer for Elder Services' review.
The commission did not take a formal vote on either item; these were updates on community outreach and distribution plans. Members noted the need to secure printing and finalize the flyer before distribution.
