EAC notes conditional Board approval for Holy Ascension site; Delacey property faces variances and possible FEMA buyout

At its May 18 meeting the EAC heard that SD#657 (Holy Ascension Church) received conditional Board approval but still has a sanitary sewer issue, and SD#661 (Delacey Property) will need variances and includes 2–3 unoccupied buildings that could be demolished as part of a FEMA buyout.
During the May 18 meeting, the East Bradford Environmental Advisory Council reviewed recent subdivision and development updates. The council reported that SD#657 (Holy Ascension Church) received conditional approval from the Board; however, sanitary sewer remains an outstanding issue that must be resolved before final approvals proceed.
The council also discussed SD#661 (Delacey Property). Reviews for the application have been circulated and the applicant will need variances. EAC members noted that two to three of the buildings on the property are unoccupied and in disrepair; those structures would be demolished if the site is included in a FEMA buyout program.
No formal EAC motions or votes on these matters were recorded at the meeting; the items were presented as development‑review updates. The council will continue to track approvals and outstanding infrastructure issues as applications move through the Board and county review process.
