At its May 27 meeting the Oneida County Planning and Development Committee voted to enter closed session under Wisconsin Statutes §19.85(1)(g) to confer with legal counsel about pending litigation. The committee returned to open session by unanimous vote, approved the closed-session minutes of April 15, 2026 (motion by Bob Almekinder, second by Billy Fried), and noted that several litigation and appeal items were discussed in closed session with no public action recorded.
After a brief recess, the committee heard public comment, approved the regular meeting minutes of May 13, 2026 (motion by Bob Almekinder, second by Billy Fried), set future meeting dates for June 10 and June 24, 2026, and adjourned at 1:47 p.m.
Motions to go into closed session and to return to open session, and the subsequent approvals of meeting minutes, were unanimous among members present.
