The Village of Catskill Board of Trustees completed routine business on April 22, approving meeting minutes, payment of audited bills and appointing a new relief operator for the water-filtration plant.
On a motion by Trustee Grasse, seconded by Trustee Mitchell, the board approved the minutes from the April 8 meeting and the payment of audited bills for April 22, 2026: General Fund A $12,578.04; Water Fund F $2,580.50; and Sewer Fund G $7,335.07. The board also voted unanimously to approve Jeremiah Vermilyea for the Water Filter Plant Relief Operator/DPW Trucker/Laborer position.
During the public-comment period Helene Teiger asked about brush on Harrison Street and Robin Smith raised a concern about metered parking on Main Street; the minutes record these items as public comments but show no immediate board action. On a motion by Trustee Grasse, seconded by Trustee Mitchell, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
The minutes were certified and are to be filed; the approved personnel appointment and bill payments will be reflected in personnel and financial records.
