Commissioners also approved new 12‑month leases at the Mattern Building with Wilkes University Small Business Development Center (suite 2, 140 square feet) and Breeze Mental Health (suite 10, 140 square feet) at $250 per month including utilities, both effective June 1, 2026; the transcript notes Breeze will have a psychiatrist available who can prescribe medication.

Commissioner Brian Hoffman moved to appoint nine people to the Camp Flea Board effective May 5, 2026, including Tori Stasiak, Lorie Radney, Collen McCarthy, Morgan Savage, Stacy Stabryla, Jenice Barrett, Renee Evans, Randi Zwatty and Scott Myers, Jr.; the motion carried 2–0 with Chair Scott Myers abstaining from the vote. The board also acknowledged the hiring of Michelle Magargle as a full‑time Administrative Clerk III in the Magisterial District Judge’s office effective May 11, 2026; the role carries benefits after a 60‑day probationary period.
The board approved travel and conference requests: a no‑cost request for the Planning office, $606.00 for two IT employees and $783.62 for three Auditors. Commissioners approved and paid current invoices totaling $197,665.57. Commissioner Darlene Fenton moved to adjourn at 10:26 a.m.
Separately, commissioners read and approved Resolution 2026‑8 recognizing May 2026 as ALS Awareness Month; community member Ted Lowden read the resolution and thanked the board for the recognition.
