Staff says multiple special permits and code amendments will go to city council in June

Andrew told the Richland City Plan Commission on June 2 that several items — including a BAC 9 indoor golf simulator permit, a Solo Garage special permit, and CZO text amendments — are scheduled for upcoming city council dates and that notices must go out by the end of the week.
Andrew, a staff member, updated the Richland City Plan Commission on items tentatively scheduled to move to city council in June and on a growing docket for July.
"So on June 8, the BAC 9 special permit request for an indoor golf simulator, will be moving forward to city council as well as the special permit and special development plan request for the Solo Garage property on Interurban," Andrew said. He added that on June 15 the city will take up consolidated zoning ordinance (CZO) text amendments addressing zoning protest procedures, the definition of family and rules for home occupations.
Andrew also said that at the commission's June 16 meeting the continued zoning file 2607 and an amendment to the Main Street Central Code relating to flags are tentatively scheduled and that notices for the June items "will need to go out by the end of this week." He concluded by noting additional cases are stacking up for July.
Commissioners did not raise questions during the brief update. The commission adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
