The Warwick Township Board of Supervisors approved multiple road-paving contracts at its April 1, 2026 virtual meeting, awarding in-place paving to H & K Group and material contracts to Rohrer’s Quarry and Heidelberg Materials.
Township Manager Brian Harris reviewed the bids and told the board that, unlike recent years when Pennsy Supply had been the low bidder for in-place paving, H & K Group submitted the lowest in-place paving bid for this year. The board then voted to approve the road-paving bids as submitted on a motion by Supervisor Jeff Tennis, seconded by Supervisor Jeremy Strathmeyer.
The minutes list the bid line items as: aggregate bid to Rohrer’s Quarry; concrete bid to Rohrer’s Quarry; paving materials bid to Heidelberg Materials; and in-place paving to H & K Group. The motion to approve the bids was recorded in the minutes with Tennis as mover and Strathmeyer as seconder; the minutes do not include a roll-call tally or further conditions attached to the awards.
The approvals came during a 25-minute virtual session that also addressed other township business. The board did not record additional debate or detail in the minutes about bid prices, contract durations, bonding, or contractor performance history.
The board set its next meeting for April 15, 2026.
