The permit includes an enforcement provision allowing police or town staff to address complaints and, if necessary, shut the display down. The motion was moved by Council member Jim and seconded by Joe; board members stated the property owner had cooperated with prior requests and the motion carried.
Separately, the board authorized payments for bridge work: $2,593 to AAR for work on the East Filmore bridge and $1,284.36 to Asar for work on the Church Street bridge (funds from line H75120 DO210). It also approved a set of budget actions, including a transfer of $7,600 to correct an overdraft and an amendment increasing seasonal parks labor (line A7189.105) by $1,727. A motion was approved to authorize the supervisor to sign an agreement with the Western New York Land Conservancy subject to minor edits by the town attorney to clarify data‑sharing and FOIL disclosures.
