MANCHESTER, Tenn. — The Coffee County Election Commission met May 11 and approved minutes from its April 21 meeting, reviewed provisional ballots from the May 5 election and canvassed the May 5 results as accurate.
Secretary Barbara Arp moved to approve the April 21 minutes; Commissioner Larry McIntosh seconded. The motion "passed by unanimous approval," according to the meeting record.
Administrator Andy Farrar reported the State of Tennesseereview of provisional voters. Based on that review the commission marked 11 provisional envelopes as "voter not registered" and signed them as not qualified; one provisional ballot was verified as a qualified voter, opened and counted for the election.
The commission then canvassed the May 5, 2026 election results and recorded the canvass finding that the results were "100% accurate as reported on Election Day." The minutes record no further detail about tallying procedures or the names on any provisional envelopes.
