Fairfield County commissioners unanimously approve 31 resolutions including CDBG applications and road resurfacing agreements

Notable approvals included a resolution to repay an advance to the general fund from Fund 2095 (marriage licenses), authorization for certain county departments to use county-issued credit cards for official business, and an advance from the general fund to the WIOA fund (Fund 7831) for $8,500. The board approved an intergovernmental agreement for resurfacing Lithopolis-Winchester Road (in collaboration with the Village of Lithopolis and City of Canal Winchester), advertising and contracting steps for that resurfacing project, and the contract award and notice to commence for the 2026 purchase of liquid asphalt.
Regional Planning resolutions were approved to submit the Fiscal Year 2026 CDBG allocation application, the Neighborhood Revitalization Program, the Critical Infrastructure Program, and to award a contract to Stutske Construction for PY2024 Rushville wastewater improvements. The board approved several memo receipt/expense and transfer transactions for Job & Family Services, Juvenile and Probate Court, ADAMH, and other county funds as listed in the meeting packet.
Each motion carried unanimously on the motions introduced by Commissioner Jeff Fix and seconded by Commissioner David Levacy; roll-call votes recorded all three commissioners (Fix, Levacy and Steve Davis) voting aye. The board also approved a resolution authorizing payment of invoices requiring Board approval and adjourned at 10:06 a.m.
