The Village Board held first readings on two land-use items tied to a recently annexed golf course during its Aug. 18 meeting.
Administrator Nick Leonard presented Ordinance-2025-09, an update to the Village of North Fond du Lac Comprehensive Plan (Update 2040) that includes minor language edits and changes to the Future Land Use map to accommodate requests tied to the annexed golf course. The board also reviewed Ordinance-2025-10, which would rezone parcel V05-16-17-31-001-00 and V05-16-17-32-07-001-00 and a portion of V05-16-17-32-10-009-00 from R-7 to R-6 residential and rezone a portion of V05-16-17-32-10-009-00 from R-7 to B-2 Business. Leonard said these changes are intended to support potential plans related to the recently annexed golf course.
Both items were presented as first readings; the minutes do not record a vote for final adoption. Additional hearings or final action may be required before any zoning map amendments take effect.
